Most of the work presented here is an extension of a continuing project to record the Texas Gulf Coast: A wide flat swath of coastal prairie punctured by south pointing fingers of luxuriant forest on the upper and eastern end, skinny sunburned traces of live oak and cactus towards Brownsville.

The whole can be can be tropical hot on Saturday, midwestern cold by noon Sunday. Drought will follow flood.
